Τhe Academy will run according to plan this summer. The program is also offered online in synchronous e-learning mode for those who will not be able to travel.
The Academy offers study sessions leading to the Intensive International Master of Laws (I.I.LL.M.) in European Public Law or the Certificate of Attendance in European Public Law for those interested in furthering their knowledge and skills on the reasoning and philosophy of the different national public law systems of European countries. The EPLO’s Intensive International LLM is awarded upon successful completion of two sessions of the Academy of European Public Law and the drafting and defense of a dissertation in front of an ad hoc jury. A Certificate is awarded to students upon the successful completion of one session of the Academy of European Public Law. World-class academics and experts, incomparable network opportunities and a serene location of spectacular heritage, by the sea are some of the program's advantages. The Program is composed of two 1-week intensive teaching sessions and a one week with Guest Lecture on different topics. At the end of each session, students must undertake an examination, which will be in the form of an essay, marked on a pass/fail or distinction basis. During the final session students usually attend the Annual Reunion of the European Group of Public Law If this year this will not be feasible due to the COVID situation then more Guest Lectures will take place.

Course leader

The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) is an International Organization with headquarters in Athens, Greece. Today, 17 states, 7 public authorities, 76 universities.

Target group

Eligible applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in law, or political sciences, European studies, international affairs and other related fields. In addition, eligible applicants should be proficient in English for academic purposes.

Course aim

The Academy offers 3-week summer study sessions for those interested in furthering their knowledge on the philosophical backdrop of different European national public law systems, as well as on their commonalities and differences.

The Certificate of Attendance is accompanied by a diploma supplement detailing its equivalency to 8 ECTS credits.The IILLM is a diploma level degree accompanied by a diploma supplement detailing its equivalency to 60 ECTS credits.
