Biozentrum Research Summer: Internships for Bachelor's Students
The Biozentrum Research Summer Program offers about 15 selected Bachelor students the opportunity to experience what it means to be a scientist, to put their classroom learning into practice and gain hands-on research experience at an early career stage.
Participants will be a member of one of the Research Groups at the Biozentrum, working during seven to nine weeks on a cutting-edge research project under the direct guidance of an experienced scientist. Their research will be in fields ranging from structural, computational and cellular biology to developmental biology, microbiology and neurobiology. They will develop skills in scientific reasoning, documentation and presentation and become familiar with diverse questions in the life sciences and different laboratory methods. They will have the opportunity to experience what scientific research is all about.
