Experience what it takes to do business in Europe successfully. Focus on European economy, zoom in on business life and Europe, and take your business competences to the ultimate test: a real-life management game on strategic marketing, finance or a hands-on course on entrepreneurship. The first part of this course offers an introduction to European economy, on current issues, trends and hot topics. The second part will take you from the Netherlands to Italy and back, and offers a practical approach to dealing with several aspects of the diverse business setting in Europe. The third part offers the real-life management game

Target group

This course is open to bachelor students in the field of business, marketing and finance, and to (bachelor and master) students who have some background and/or a strong interest in these fields and economic trends and topics in the EU. A good command of English is necessary.

Course aim

Participants will have increased their knowledge of and the skills needed to understand the challenges of operating in a European business setting, will have an overview of current trends and hot topics, and will have experienced their own strengths and weaknesses in assignments and case studies where they are asked to analyse and solve problems, and focus on the implications of theory for real-life.
