It's All About Money; Management Game Finance
Face the consequences of your own financial management decisions, in learning to deal with the economical risks and developments companies in Europe face.
This course is a financial management game especially designed for those (aspirant) professionals who are interested in financial decision-making processes. Participants learn how to make sound policy decisions in the field of finance. Focus will be on the interdependency of investment decisions with regard to production, marketing and finance. Support and test financial policymaking by setting up liquidity budgets, operating budgets, capacity planning and cost analyses.
The course has a very practical approach. Participants work in teams on this management game alongside of which classes are offered to discuss modern theoretical knowledge to support successful participation.
This course is an interesting challenge for students in Bachelor programmes on Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, but is also open to Bachelor and Master students in other fields, as long as they have some background or a strong interest in finance. A good command of English is necessary.
This course aims to provide all participants the opportunity to put their decision-making competences in an international, sometimes hectic environment to the test. At the end of the course will have experienced their own strengths and weaknesses in the field of coordinating and cooperating in an international team in general, and in financial decision-making in particular.
