This course is an intensive program about care and communication related to patients with head and neck cancer. You will visit health care institutes in the Netherlands and be inspired by experienced teachers. The program exists of lectures,workshops, excursions to see clinical practices and presentations of fellow students. By attending this course, you will become aware of the ways in which health problems outside your field of expertisemay affect the type of treatment you offer a patient.

This course is designed for students or recent graduates in the field of speech therapy, skin therapy/ dermatology, dental hygiene/ dentistry, orthoptics/ optometry and other related fields of study in healthcare.

Course aim

By attending this course, you will become aware of the ways in which health problems outside your field of expertise may affect the type of treatment you offer a patient. You will learn how to contribute to the multidisciplinary treatment.
