Enroll and find out how scientific knowledge is generated and translated into personalized treatment to improve survival and quality of life of patients with cancer. Meet the UMC Utrecht's cancer researchers and medical specialists and work together with them in a multidisciplinary setting to determine treatment plans for real life patients.

Course leader

Lectures and workshops are provided by experienced clinicians and researchers from the UMC Utrecht.

Target group

Advanced bachelors / beginning masters with an interest clinical and translational oncologic research. Curiosity, excellent interpersonal skills and an open mind are assets. Applicants should be proficient in English and will be subjected to a selection procedure.

Course aim

At the end of the week, participants will have solid knowledge on the requirements for successfully translating basic and technological developments into clinically meaningful therapies, and appreciate that multidisciplinary collaboration and central position of the patient will be key factors for success.
