This course will introduce students to the essential quantitative skills they need to excel in graduate courses in economics and quantitative social science. In lectures and small-group tutorials, students will be immersed in the key concepts and techniques that form the backbone of many graduate-level courses in Economics. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about the diverse paths they can take within economics in engaging lectures from economists working across a range of fields, both within academia but also in industry and civil service.

Target group

Undergraduate students with a maths A-level who are considering a graduate programme in Economics

Credits info

All participants will be issued with a PDF certificate, that will have their name, course, and the dates of completion on it. They will also be offered a letter of recommendation for future graduate studies from an Oxford University Economics Professor.

GBP 2700: The course fee for Fundamentals of Graduate Economics is £2700. The Summer School will be held in person, in the Department of Economics, Oxford.
