Training for German Language Teachers
The three focal points of the course are: upper-level language courses (C1/C2), methodological-didactical exercises, as well as presentation of new teaching and course materials. The morning course can be complemented by attending seminars and lectures in the afternoons. Day trips to the Black Forest and the Alsace Region of France are offered in addition to a varied program in and around Freiburg, organized by our dedicated student tutors.
All our German language teachers are highly qualified and experienced native speakers.
This course is intended for instructors who are teaching German abroad, and for those who would like to become German teachers. A language proficiency of C1 is required for participation in this course.
A Transcript of Records including your grade, your personal language level and your ECTS credit points will show your performances.
Up to 7 ECTS credit points can be issued by daily practise at the modern Language Lab and by attending seminars and lectures in the afternoons.
EUR 680: The course fee includes learning materials, access to the university PC pools and internet, as well as leisure activities.
EUR 350: Single rooms in student dormitories or in private shared flats in Freiburg may be arranged upon request.
Reduced fee for ERASMUS students.
