Assistive Technology (AT) can support patients as well as therapists. During this summer course, we will focus on ambulation and mobility. We will for instance demonstrate different kinds of wheelchairs, prosthetics, computerized research and training devices, and other related AT.
This course will give you an introduction in AT through lectures of experts, visits to manufacturers and users of AT. Furthermore we will discuss ethical aspects, regulations, and financial aspects related to AT.
You will get the opportunity not only to get acquaintance to AT in a passive way, but also to experience the use of it in an active way!

Students or recent graduates in fysiotherapy or allied health studies interested in mobility and technology.
