The main objectives of the courses will be:
- giving/improving basic knowledge of the Estonian language
- improving oral and written language skills
- learning to understand what is heard or read
- getting familiar with the Estonian culture

There will be no single teaching method favoured in these courses. Instead, a variety of methods will be used to meet the needs of most students. The language of instruction is English.

Course aim

The Estonian language summer courses will be divided into different modules according to the levels of language skills:

I. Estonian language course for beginners, 0-A1.1 (3 CP)
July 20 - 31

II. Estonian language continuation course for beginners' course, A1.1-A1.2 (3CP)
August 3 - 14

III. Estonian language pre-intermediate course, A2.1-A2.2 (B1) (3CP)
August 3 – 14

IV. Estonian language intermediate course / Kesktaseme kursus, B1.2-B2.1 (3CP)
August 3 - 14

V. Estonian language upper-intermediate course / Kõrgtaseme kursus, B2.1-B2.2 (3CP)
August 3 - 14

Fee info

EUR 377: There will be a reduced fee (5%) for students participating in two sequent modules. Participation fee covers study materials, classes, coffee breaks and two visits to museums.
