This summer IFMSA-Groningen will be organizing already the 8th Summer School on Global Health!rnThe 8 day program will be divided into 5 pillars of Global Health: Equality, Economics and Right to Medicine; Disaster Medicine; Reproductive Health; Infectious Diseases and last but not least Non-Communicable Diseases.rnAfter the educational program, there will of course be a great social program in the evenings and the weekends! You will get to know the Dutch way of ‘having fun’, discover the Netherlands and make a lot of new international friends during our various activities.rnThe Summer School on Global Health is a great opportunity to meet other students who are interested in Global Health, to discuss the topics with them and have a lot of fun together during the social program!

Target group

Undergraduate (bio)medical students with a special interest in global health.rnrnAs a participant you are expected to actively take part and contribute to the discussions giving an insight into the differences in healthcare systems around the world.

Course aim

The 8 day program on the different aspects of Global Health aims to raise (bio)medical awareness and understanding of important health issues rnworldwide. Moreover, we aim to give an insight into the differences in healthcare systems around the world.

Fee info

EUR 600: Fee per participant, including educational course, meals, accommodation in a student guesthouse, as well as several social activities.
EUR 300: Fee per (RUG/UMCG) participant, including educational course, meals, as well as several social activities.
