Introduction to Clinical Research Monitoring

This courses introduces the workfield of a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and monitoring clinical research both from a theoretical as a practical perspective. Special attention will be given to the ethical and methodological aspects of the work of CRA's. Students will be working hands on by monitoring cases during the course.

Course aim

to get a thorough insight in applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines of clinical trials
to be able to monitor the conduction of a clinical trial and to report quality-related findings
to communicate as a CRA (clinical research associate)
