Our intensive language training programme »Deutsch in Weimar« is an effective method to learn German as a foreign language in groups of up to 15 participants from all over the world. The programme is the perfect way to prepare for a degree programme or internship in Germany. Regardless of whether you are a beginner, advanced student or practically an expert. Our four-week course is perfect to learn or improve your German language skills.

Special feature

You won't learn German just in the classroom! For example, you can practice your German in a playful atmosphere and learn about cusine at the Cooks´ Workshop. You can improve your listening comprehension and gain new insights into German culture with the German films. And you can learn even more about the German culture at the weekly international gaming night. Or pratice your conversion skills during an excursion to neighbouring towns or a picnic in the park.

And that's not even the half of it! Learn German and explore the cultural history of Germany that Weimar has to offer. In collaboration with the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, we are introducing a new supplementary feature: the museum project. This will give you the opportunity to practice your language skills on site in one of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar's museums, for example the art collection of the castle, the Park Cave or the Roman House. Join us on this journey of discovery, and improve your German and your cultural knowledge at the same time!

There are no prerequisites for participation. You can start your first German language course without any knowledge or you can perfect your German language skills.
