The aim of the International Summer School (https://ebiz2015.pns.aegean.gr/) is to contribute to the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship; eBiz2015 is designed to help participants become better equipped for management and leadership roles in e-Commerce organizations.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Professors from the University of the Aegean, Athens University of Economics and Business, and the Michigan State University. In addition, professional managers and consultants will share business strategies according to today’s market conditions.

The topics covered by the Summer School are:

Course leader

Dimitris Drossos is a Lecturer at University of the Aegean. He is research focuses on mobile marketing and advertising effectiveness together with m-commerce technologies and services.

The 7-day Summer School, addresses to: IT entrepreneurs, Business executive and Consultants, Undergraduate and postgraduate students, University and Technological Educational Institutes graduates and holders of Degrees, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and young scientists, Key stakeholders of the public and private sectors related to e-business and who wish to enhance their theoretical background and practical skills in the field of e-Business

Course aim

The purpose of eBiz2015 Summer School is to provide a broad introduction to e-business technologies, increase participants’ understanding of the complex issues related to marketing goods and services on the Internet, and to expand on the fundamental e-business theory and practices. Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
• Understand the main concepts of Digital Strategy, Marketing and Sales
• Identify the multiple sources of information in the web affecting business performance
• Understand the importance of collecting and analyzing data
• Work with the most “hot” marketing tools and the corresponding techniques for digital marketing and management
• Apply the basic methods of marketing tactics & reputation management
