This Wind Energy course will consist of a theoretical aspect made up of lectures, presentations, and exercises along with a practical aspect where participants will have the chance to visit a German manufacturer of a wind power plant and take part in a sight tour of a wind farm and climb a wind turbine. These activities provide participants the opportunity to discuss their topics of interest with experts, producers, and potential business partners.

A certificate of participation will be handed out upon completion, to participants who have attended at least 90% of the Wind Energy course.

Course leader

The German Academy for Renewable Energy and Environmental Technology offers this Wind Energy course in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology (IWES).

Target group

Engineers, technicians, decision makers, experts, and industry newcomers; as well as practitioners of manufacturers, suppliers, operators, developers, and investors in the renewable energy sector with basic knowledge pertaining to electrical engineering and/or mechanical engineering.

Course aim

Our mission is to train students and professionals in the field of renewable energies and eco-friendly technologies, thus helping them to become experts in the field.
Our courses, that attract students and professionals from around the world, are organised in cooperation with leading German universities and research institutes.
As part of our programs, we organise visits to German companies and projects in the field of renewable energies to enable our attendees to get a first-hand experience of German environmental technology.

Fee info

EUR 1660: A fee of EUR 1660 will cover tuition fees for the Wind Energy course, course materials, documentation, site tours, and a program certificate.
EUR 1990: A fee of EUR 1990 will cover tuition fees for the Wind Energy course, course materials, documentation, site tours, a program certificate, and accommodation in a single room at the
Genius Hotel (7 nights). Food and drinks are not included.

A fee of EUR 2230 will cover tuition fees for the Wind Energy course, course materials, documentation, site tours, a program certificate, accommodation in a single room with a rich breakfast buffet, access to the gym, steam bath, sauna, tanning bed, and relaxing area at the
Ramada Hotel**** (7 nights), as well as a local public transportation ticket.
