Emotional Intelligence for Inclusive Societies
The 1th International Summer School on Emotional Intelligence for Inclusive Societies is promoted by Dipartimento di Scienze Psicologiche, Pedagogiche e della Formazione, Università degli Studi di Palermo (Italy), and will be held at the University of Palermo, Italy, from Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July 2014, for a total of 150 hours:
• 28 hours classes
• 12 hours e- learning
• 110 hours individual study

Target group
The summer school welcomes students, young researchers or professionals interested to the theme of the course, with a bachelor degree, a master degree, a PhD or equivalent, obtained in Italian or foreign institutions.
People may participate as Applicants, if interested only to attend the course; Contributors, if interested to presente thei work in oral sessions or poster presentation.
Course aim
The course is aimed to give participante an intensive five days of lectures and ateliers covering a wide range of topics in Emotional Intelligence such as:
• Emotional Intelligence, theoretical and measurement issues
• Programs for the improvement of emotional abilities
• Emotional intelligent schools
• Emotional intelligent organizations
• Case studies

6 EC
Participants that will attend the blended course for at least the 80% of hours of classes, and will pass the final testing session, will obtain final certificate for the attribution of 6 ECTS, valuable for the courses of European community.
