Training Program “Innovative Technological and Management Concepts for Renewable Energy”
Energy supply transported via central grids is sometimes interrupted or simply not available in remote regions. Thus, fuel operated generators are often used to fill the gap but their disadvantages are manifold: they are noisy, costly to maintain, they consume fossil fuels and are harmful for the environment. This Summer School aims to show how renewable energy can provide energy efficiently and reliably.
This Training Program consists of three one-week modules. In the first week basics and practice of photovoltaics are addressed. In Week 2 technologies for wind power generation are in the focus. Bioenergy technologies are considered both in theory and practice in week 3. The Training Program includes presentations, a workshop, excursions to renewable energy projects and sight-seeing tours of Berlin and of Potsdam. Participants can choose to attend one module, two modules or the entire Training Program.
The German Academy for Renewable Energy and Environmental Technology offers this Training Program in cooperation with SRH University Berlin, Germany
This Training Program is designed for engineers, technicians, decision makers, suppliers, students or graduates of engineering, technicians, economics or related subjects. as well as investors and educators in the field of renewable energies or public and academic sectors who wish to get a comprehensive introduction to renewable energy technologies, as well as those wishing to installing renewable energy systems in both urban or rural.
Our mission is to train students and professionals in the field of renewable energies and eco-friendly technologies, thus helping them to become experts in the field.
Our courses, that attract students and professionals from around the world, are organised in cooperation with leading German universities and research institutes.
As part of our programs, we organise visits to German companies and projects in the field of renewable energies to enable our attendees to get a first-hand experience of German environmental technology
