Business Not As Usual; Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Management
To fully experience what it takes to set up and run your own business, this course offers you the right challenge. Participants will learn it does not just take that one big dream, or brilliant idea, or unique set of skills to make it as an entrepreneur. It requires hard work, a lot of thought, planning, help, and of course money. In practical workshops and realistic simulations you will discover introductory fundamentals as well as the development and implementation of real business opportunities.
In today's rapidly changing marketplace, the need for entrepreneurial skills increases. Whether you want to organize, own, manage and assume the risks of a business (entrepreneurship), or assist organizations in developing new business opportunities (intrapreneurship), you are required to be an individual with the ability to combine conventional management skills with entrepreneurial skills. This means you are able to manage risks, manage across functional boundaries, and creatively engage and adapt to a dynamic environment.
For the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders this course offers the opportunity to develop the mind-set, skills, competencies and experiential learning that enable you to function as an entrepreneur or as a productive member of an emerging, entrepreneurial firm.
During the week you will be offered a challenge and experience in which you will increase your entrepreneurial skills. You will follow workshops about different subjects, such as design thinking and elements of the business plan. In teams you follow a business plan training and generate a business model. At the end of the week you present your ideas in a powerful pitch.
This course has a very practical approach. In practical workshops and realistic simulations you will discover introductory fundamentals as well as the development and implementation of real business opportunities.
