London:
This course will start in London where you will learn the building blocks required to take your interior design and creativity skills to the next level.
During the first week you will look at scale, how to render it and how to think about it in terms of the activity in the space. You will also look at materials used by interior designers and how to render and present your designs. This week will mainly be composed of group work.

The second week of the course will be your opportunity to work on your own. Starting to develop your own style working whilst you respond to a project brief set by the tutors. You will build models and draw your ideas, learning key skills utilised by designers at every level. The week will culminate in a presentation of your final project.

You will leave the course with a tool kit of skills that can be applied to any interiors project and a reinvigorated creative thought that will steer you away for the obvious response to a brief and force you to think creatively.

Barcelona:
In Barcelona you will apply your recently gained skills in London and continue gaining knowledge about the essentials of interior design with a special focus on gastronomic spaces.

Through lectures and workshop sessions you will learn the basics of lighting design and how to provide atmosphere through the play of light and shadow and also you will be introduced to the exciting aspect of colour in interior design and its application to space related to the course topic.
You will have the opportunity to visit and study examples of interior design in the city that involve outstanding creative solutions of bars, restaurants and chiringuitos and learn how people are affected by the design of the space around them.

From the beginning you will work individually on a project creating a cohesive interior scheme from a given brief to preliminary presentation with drawings, models and presentation boards.

By the end of the course you will have reached a level of skills that allow you to develop conceptual ideas for a gastronomic space and how to communicate them.
