Are you ready to bring your Dutch to a whole new level? This advanced course in Dutch offers you the opportunity to improve your Dutch language skills. It focuses especially on an active command of the language (speaking and writing). Dutch language level 6 will expand your language skills and increase your saying power. The newly-acquired skills can be applied straightaway at work or in your private life. The course aim is to reach level B2+.

Dutch is a Germanic language that is spoken by approximately 23 million people world-wide. Most of these live in the Netherlands and in Belgium, but Dutch is also spoken in Surinam and in the Dutch Antilles.

This course is ideal for language learners who have passed the NT2 State Exam, but who would like to express themselves more fluently. It can still be quite tricky to find the right words and the correct tone in writing or in a conversation. This course will expand your language skills and increase your saying power. The newly-acquired skills can be applied straightaway at work or in your private life.

Target group

People who have reached B2 level (CEF). You are required to do a placement test developed by Babel. This test consists of two parts: multiple choice and writing. A teacher will assess your language skills. On the basis of your test result you will get an advice about which course is suitable for you.

Please note that it can take up to 5 working days until your language level is assessed.

Course aim

At the end of this course, participants will feel more confident in Dutch. They can express themselves fluently and spontaneously, seemingly without any strain. (B2+ level, CEFR). After completing this course, a participant is able to:
- understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning.
- express ideas fluently and spontaneously.
- use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
- produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects.
