Revolutions in Biomedicine
Imperial College London has designed the Revolutions in Biomedicine summer school with your learning and social experience at heart. Based on a line-up of leading researchers, our intense academic programme will allow you to learn about the past, present and future state of biomedical sciences such as immunology, global health or cancer and reproductive biology.
Lectures will be complemented by group work, keynote talks and career perspective sessions. In addition, you will have the fabulous opportunity to experience real bench work during our week long mini-research project. This is a unique opportunity for you to be in control of your experimental design, taking full ownership of your practical work.
Finally, in collaboration with Imperial Business School, we have put together an exciting ‘Summer in London’ social programme which will allow you to discover our capital and its surroundings like you've never seen them before! Let the world's second highest rated university be your perfect environment to learn lifelong skills.

The programme content has been designed for undergraduates and recent graduates in bioscience degrees (including medicine, biomedical science, biology and biochemistry). All applicants must be 18 or older on the programme start date.
The course offers undergraduates and graduates a chance to gain academic credit (7.5 ECTS) and enhance their CVs in an intensive and stimulating study environment. Students will have opportunities to interact with world-leading medical researchers while experiencing London's rich cultural and historical heritage.
By achieving an aggregate score of 40% or more over the programme modules, attendees will be awarded 7.5 ECTS points. Prospective students should check with their home institution to ensure that these credits can used towards their current undergraduate degree. Please note that 7.5 ECTS are generally recognised to be equivalent to 3-4 US credits, but a student's home institution will decide the amount of credit that can be awarded.
