duration 2 weeks
fee GBP 3449

The term 'Philosophy' means 'love of wisdom', and our Philosophy course helps you to deepen your knowledge in this diverse and fascinating subject. Those who study philosophy are perpetually engaged in asking, answering, and arguing for the answers to life’s most basic questions.

Our course is taught by world-leading experts in their respective fields, and will be taught through the tutorial method (see below).

UNITS

As part of your studies with OFL, you will be required to choose a unit to study:

Unit 1: The nature of knowledge and reality
Unit 2: Ethics
Unit 3: Philosophy of Science
Unit 4: Philosophy of Mind
Unit 5: Philosophy of Religion
Unit 6: The History of Philosophy
Unit 7: Philosophy, Psychology and Linguistics

There is scope to study more than one unit, or to focus on a particular area of interest within the unit, if you are interested. However this will need to be agreed with your tutor upon acceptance onto the course.
