In Europe, until recently we produced virtually all our products ourselves. Nowadays shops are filled with goods ‘Made in Asia’, especially in China. How did Asian companies manage to conquer our markets so rapidly? Can it only be explained by ‘cheap labor’ or is there more to it?
And should we fear for the future of our industry or will it not come to that? What are the strengths of Asia and what are their weaknesses?
