This one-week course will cover a wide variety of topics in global health such as epidemiological transition, demographic trends, social determinants of health and burden of disease. The participant will learn to address health-related development strategies, such as the Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, the participant learns about key institutions and their agendas, roles and responsibilities, and international partnerships and ethical aspects for research and development.
By the end of this course the participant will understand the key principles, health government and policy concepts, and comprehends the relations between them. The course helps to prepare the participant for an interdisciplinary career in the field of
global health and policy.

epidemiology and public health and interest in global health
