Early Foreign Language Learning
The course will consist of 20 contact hours and two afternoon workshops, where trainees will have the chance to put into practice the techniques and methods presented and discussed during the morning sessions. Classes will be held on weekdays whereas during the weekends and afternoons trainees will be free. A series of cultural events, trips to well known archaeological sites and museums will be organized. Trainees will also have the chance to enjoy some of the world’s most famous touristic attractions.
Some of the modules of the course on Early foreign language learning are: Story-based teaching, teaching through phonics, ICT for young learners, materials development for young learners, Using games and songs, etc.

The course in Early Foreign Language Learning aims to familiarize trainees with the latest trends and developments in the field of early foreign language education. Trainees will be taught by a team of expert trainers with long experience in foreign language teaching to young learners. Trainees will be provided with a wide array of innovative teaching materials that have been previously implemented and tested in an Experimental primary school supervised by the University of Thessaloniki.
