This course offers sessions on a diverse range of areas of contemporary psychology. It has been designed to allow students of psychology to develop their understanding of psychology beyond the traditional undergraduate curriculum and explore some controversial and exciting topics including parapsychology, hypnosis, morality in sport, obesity, special educational needs and transpersonal psychology. This programme offers students the opportunity to participate in real psychological studies, develop key skills and to develop an awareness of cross cultural differences in psychology through direct experience and reflection. Participants attending this programme will have a chance to visit to places such as the Freud and Natural History Museums in London and the Coventry Refugee Centre.
The programme will also include social and cultural visits for all to participate in and to explore their surroundings with new friends from all around the world.

Target group

All participants must have completed one year of study on a psychology related programme at school, college or university.All participants must be aged 18 or above at the start of this programme. As the programme is delivered in English, students will need a good level of English speaking, reading and writing skills.
