This program is a unique opportunity for both undergraduate and postgraduate students from around the world to build their Management and Leadership Skills through a unique summer academic immersion experience. (Despite the apparent business profile of the course, it is quite general and can be really enriching for students of any discipline. Moreover, the Prof. Doctors teaching the course specialize in the development of personal and group dynamics skills and and we are pretty sure it would be interesting for students from any area of knowledge. In fact, this course is an improved version arisen from the combination of two of our most resoundingly successful previous courses, in which more than 120 international students from different countries such as USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Germany or Belgium, among others, have already participated (FUTURE LEADERS: SKILLS FOR PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS STRATEGY; and MANAGERIAL SKILLS AND MARKETING IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS).

The coures are addressed to undergraduate, postgraduate and graduate students.

Course aim

In a globalized economy, companies operate in different countries and employ an international workforce. They need professionals with management, entrepreneurship and marketing skills (negotiation, team management, communication, leadership, creativity, innovation, market research in an international environment, etc.) applicable to international and multicultural environments.
In this course we offer a practical and applied perspective in order to develop these abilities. Interaction among students will be encouraged to obtain and apply management and entrepreneurship skills in international organizations, understanding the different roles and functions of entrepreneurs and managers and developing basic skills for these positions.

The workload of the courses is 80 hours and they can be recognized by up to 11 ECTS credits at the home university.
