This course comprises 6 topics per 10 contact hours:
- Political dimension: Asia’s Relation with Europe
- Historical dimension: Historical interactions between Asia and Europe
- Economic dimension: The role of Europe and Asia in the global political economy
- Social dimension: European social models, the Chinese social model, the Japanese welfare state, the Indian welfare system
- Cultural dimension: Cultural interactions, differences in cultural norms, work cultures in Europe and in Asia. Intercultural training.
- Sustainability dimension: Different European and Asian approaches to sustainability and environmental policy.
- including a factory tour to Mercedes Benz plant Bremen or Airbus Bremen
