NSCAS - Nordic Summer Colloquium on Advanced Steel
The Triple Steelix Industrial Region hereby invites PhD students from all over the world working in the fields of processing and properties of advanced steel to join in an exciting week of interesting talks, meetings, lectures and research exchange.
Are you one of 15 PhD students to join two weeks full of inspiring activities? Meet, discuss and make contacts with renowned experts and academics from leading Swedish steel companies and universities. Participate in state-of-the art lectures. Enjoy a variety of social activities. Make valuable contacts and get to know young research colleagues from all over the world.
The NSCAS alumni network will give you valuable contacts and keep you informed of future opportunities for a career in Swedish industry or academia.
We will take care of you from your arrival in Borlänge until the day of departure.
Applicants are required to fill in the application form on the website www.nscas.se and submit an abstract describing their current research before April 11 2016. Invited participants should then fill in the final application form and pay the registration fee no later than Monday 9 th of May.Invitations are based on the quality and relevance of the applicant’s research.
Each participant is expected to bring a poster in A1 format for the poster session. We will be happy to print the poster for you if you submit it no later than Monday 30th of May.
