Our courses in Education subjects last one week, allowing you to take one or more if you like. You can also combine these courses with courses from other disciples. At Nottingham Trent University our summer courses are delivered by experts who bring academic and industry experience to their subject. You can select from the following Education subjects:

> Introduction to Education and Training Principles and Practices - provides an introduction to teaching that will give an insight
into teaching and learning practices in England. It will focus on how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions; how to conduct assessments and how to offer constructive feedback.

> Introduction to Sociological Explorations in Education - introduce sociological ways of understanding education. You will explore texts that help inform our thinking about key educational issues. This will contribute to your development in relation to thinking critically about educational experiences of particular groups in society.

> Learning in Nature: Introduction to Forest School Principles - be introduced to the benefits of participating in Forest School and explore the roles of adults in this context as well as participants. You'll participate in Forest School activities, and be introduced to methods to identify woodland species.

The courses will broaden your skills and knowledge and introduce you to new ways of thinking, and you'll also learn more about Nottingham and NTU as contemporary places to live and study.

NTU is right in the heart of England, with London, the coast and all the major attractions within easy reach. We provide you with a real experience of living and learning in the UK, in a city famous for the tales of Robin Hood.
