A smart tourism combines two aspects: the sustainability concept and the IT
influence. For the tourists a smart tourism will bring accessible integrated useful
data available at the place they visit in a greener, better organized environment in
order to obtain their complete satisfaction. The International Master Summer
School on Smart Tourism offers in-depth knowledge of tourism from economic,
social, environmental and cultural perspectives by focusing on key scientific areas. It
aims to equip young professionals with a better understanding of current issues in
the tourism industry and provides methodologies for managing tourism in a
sustainable, smart and competitive manner. Furthermore, the program helps you
develop your career in sustainable strategic management of tourist organizations
