In these five days you will learn about how to make the shoe industry more ecological. This course will be taught by critically acclaimed designer Marloes ten Bhömer. Her work fuses artistic and technological experiment in order to discover shoes anew. She has been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally and gives lectures about her work worldwide.

"The fashion and shoe industry function as a system. A system is a set of interacting or interdependent components forming an integrated whole. Due to this interdependence it might seem that the system is impermeable. In order to innovate and / or make the industry more ecologically sustainable the system and designer's roles requires rethinking".
