This course offers a practical approach to running a business in a sustainable way, by studying two business cases on location (in Northern Italy and in the Netherlands).

But with especially Asia taking over large parts of the production process, the textile industry has changed dramatically. How did this happen, and what can the industry do to survive?
These first two weeks will take place at a partner university in Northern Italy.

In the second case study students focus on the highly successful agricultural industry in the Netherlands. Covered will be changes in economical, social and geographical factors favouring this industry, with a focus on how Dutch culture influenced the expansion of the market.
