This course will give you opportunity to explore Celtic connections between Scotland and Ireland through song, language, literature and folklore. Using these social and historical resources this relationship can be traced overtime. Academic excursions to cultural and musical events around the city will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of these Celtic traditions in context, and to place the role of Celtic culture in Edinburgh today.
