The program offers one week in uae (eg: fujairah) placed at the end of february for the same above two groups of students from unipi and from uae, that have already attended to the first week in livorno. The students will attend to (hypothesis to verify) a class of bunkering services of larger vessels, a class of international trade and economy, a class of free zone management and some lectures of arabian culture, uae’s local customs and traditions (elementary level). The students will also attend to technical visits transport and logistics facilities (e.g.: port of fujairah). The weekend is free, generally devoted for unipi students to shopping and cultural visit of main historical towns and attractions (e.g.: fort of fujairah)

Target group

The winter/summer school is only for students enrolled in the university of pisa and any other university or college of united arabs emirates (uae). The number of admitted students is 7-12 as much as for unipi and for uae (from 14 to 24 overall).

Course aim

He winter/summer school in sea-land logistics rises from mutual scientific and educational interests, and it is framed in a bilateral exchange of students between unipi and a corresponding university/high college in uae. The first aim is in presenting some distinguished lectures from the field of strategic and sustainable logistics and transport systems. Course topics will include lectures on international trade, freight transport management, railway systems, port logistics and ict for sustainable transportation.
The second aim of the winter/summer school is to offer an international exchange experience to students of all educational institutions involved in.

EUR 1000: Fee is comprehensive of both summer and winter schools of sea-land logistics.
