Do you want to know more about destination marketing, learn what’s going on in the attraction theme park world and have unique insights in how to create experiences? This is your chance!

Together with the Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) in Macao, NHTV will deliver an attractive 10-day course programme around the themes: Placemaking and Destination Shaping, Attraction Theme Park Management and Experience Design. The courses are focused on the fields of Tourism and Leisure.

Different international lecturers from NHTV, the Netherlands and IFT Macao, China

Target group

For students who are currently registered as full-time undergraduate students of higher education institutions, regardless of country and region, with a good command of the English language.

Course aim

• to build up students' knowledge and experience on place-making, destination-shaping, and attractions and theme parks management.
• to enlighten students with examples of how to turn “customers” to “fans”.
• to educate student’s about the importance and power of brand management.
• to develop students' interpersonal skills and team spirit through international exchange activities.

Credits info

2 ECTS
Assignments will be included in all courses.
Upon the completion of your course you will obtain an official certificate of attendance, as well as 2 ECTS

Fee info

EUR 1195: Course fee including course materials without accommodation.
EUR 1699: Course fee including course materials with shared accommodation in hotel (12 nights)
