The Network for International Law Students (NILS) – Bucharest Chapter is proud to
announce the second edition of the NILS International Summer School which will be organised
in Bucharest between 3rd and 10th of July, 2017.

THEME

The theme of this year’s edition is ”Intellectual Property and Technology Law”. The
participants will have the opportunity to discover how this two fields interact and what is the
influence of the evolution of technology, as well as, the influence of emerging technologies on
other fields of law, particularly on intellectual property law. This will be achieved throughout
a series of lectures given by eminent speakers, such as lawyers from national and international
law firms or renowned professors of law.
The lectures will be held at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, and at the
Nicolae Titulescu University, two prestigious Faculties of Law in Romania.
As the former edition, this summer school aims at attracting law students from all over
the world in order to promote a culturally diverse environment that will enable the exchange
between participans coming from diferent legal systems around the world.
The academic programme will be complemented with a series of social activities, such
as city tours, visits to public institutions, nights out and so on, that will enable a rich cultural
exchange between the participants.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation will be provided for all international participants in the student dorms
of the ”Nicolae Titulescu” University and public transport will also be arranged by us for the
convenience of the participants.
