Image Analysis and Modeling of Complex Biological Dynamics

when 18 September 2017 - 22 September 2017
language English
duration 1 week
credits 5 EC

This summer school serves to introduce undergraduate students (BSc. and MSc. level) in the biological and biomedical fields to quantitative methods for studying complex dynamics in biological systems. The participants will learn basic techniques for image analysis and mathematical modelling that they can apply later in their own research projects. Mornings will entail lectures, whereas the afternoons will include practical exercises. Lectures and practical work will be given both by speakers from the University Würzburg and external invited leading experts in image analysis and computational modeling.
