Combination and integration of a variety of disciplines and skills from basic science, clinical medicine, engineering, business, public health, ethics, laws and regulations to manage and sustain with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA). Pharmaceutical Drug Development is one of the most complex and highest regulated disciplines. The EMA (European Medicines Agency) is the second largest competent authority within the European Union, which mirrors the importance and complexity of pharmaceutical product development.

The process of pharmaceutical product development is so complex as it combines and integrates a variety of diverse disciplines and skills from basic science, clinical medicine, engineering, business, public health, ethics, laws and regulations. These areas of disciplines are so wide apart so that it is a challenge to create mutual understanding. And moreover to manage and sustain in a (business) world that is VUCA - volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous.

Fee info

EUR 1570: The tuition fee includes: participation fee and welcome package, course certificate, all working materials, social program with sightseeing and visits of popular spots in Vienna, public transportation ticket, airport pick-up and accommodation in the single room in the student hostel, lunch from Monday to Friday.
