In over 20 years of working with artists, I have encountered two problems that leave artists stuck. 1) They keep repeating the same work, however different its appearance. 2) They would like to express an idea or concept yet cannot find the fitting medium. In this workshop, we will do a collective analysis of each participant’s work to work through these blocks. In a way, the method is akin to a psychological analysis – not of the artists but of the work. There are no right “answers” but there are always more effective ways to express one’s own ideas. Finding the unique particularity of each participant’s work is the goal.
