Renwable Energy
The 32nd Summer School Renewable Energy is a summer course with lectures, field trips, and project work, covering basic knowledge of various topics regarding the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. Traditionally, participants arrange their tents and caravans free of charge on the campus in Jülich. If you wish to look for alternative accomondation, we will be glad to help you.
Course leader
The Summer School Renewable Energy is organized by the Solar-Institut Jülich. Lectures are held by renowned guest speakers from industry, science, and research.
Target group
The course is aimed at students of all faculties and disciplines.
Course aim
The course aims to provide basic knowledge in the thematic areas of climate change and sustainable energy provision.

5 EC
A final written exam will be conducted at the end of the summer school, upon clearing of which, a maximum of 5 ECTS points can be earned.
Fee info
EUR 350: The participation fee covers all activities and lecture notes.
