Awareness and reflection on aspects of professional development is vital in regards to a fulfilling career. Throughout this module, students will explore the reasons behind this, and be able to voice their own opinions on the subject. Students will learn what is meant by the term ‘professional development’, how it is involved in the workplace, and why it is crucial to career progression.

Students must attend an introductory workshop and academic tutorials, and are required to submit a supplementary academic assignment before the official International Summer School deadline.

Target group

This option is ideal for students who require additional credit to transfer back to their home degree, but is open to everyone. The module cannot be taken as a standalone subject and must be selected alongside any of the other modules on offer, it will be shown on your academic transcript as an additional module.
