Make ’em Laugh – Writing Comedy Online

A 10-hour online course looking in a practical way at some of the technical aspects of writing comedy or humourous material. The course will examine comedy styles, aims and intentions through situation and character.

There will be two evening feedback sessions, one on Tuesday 29/4 with the participants, and a rehearsed reading on Friday 2/5 with actors.

The course seeks to impart skills for writing comedy in a creative, stimulating , unexpected and fun way, while also offering 'take aways' for the development of general writing work
