Classes are organized according to CEFRL levels A1-C1.

Croaticum Summer School of Croatian Language and Culture is held on the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, daily from Monday to Friday in the morning and early afternoon.

The course includes 75 lessons. The study program for each level includes 60 language lessons (4 per day), 6 lessons in pronunciation (2 per week) and 9 lessons on Croatian culture. Additional field trips can be organised, according to participants’ interest (the price is not included in the tuition fee).

At the end of Croaticum Summer School of Croatian Language and Culture the participants take the final exam and obtain a diploma.

If completed successfully, the program is worth 4 ECTS credits.

Participants without previous knowledge of the language start lessons immediately on the first day, while participants with previous knowledge of Croatian first take the interview and then start with lessons. But they need to take on-line test prior to their arrival.

Enrollment is completed by signing an agreement in Croaticum’s office in the first week of the school.

Croaticum Summer School of Croatian Language and Culture is intended for students, learners and heritage speakers of Croatian, as well as language learning enthusiasts at all levels of Croatian as L2 proficiency.
