Entrepreneurship is the world of seizing opportunities. It is a mindset and a way of living and it is essential to every manager’s success whether he/she chooses to start her/his own business or become a corporate manager. Specific components of the workshop include: Developing your global entrepreneurial mindset / Creating, developing, and assessing opportunities / Market and industry analysis / Value chain analysis and synergies / Business Model Design and Feasibility
The workshop will include visits to start-ups in Germany (Berlin) and attending entrepreneurship talks.

Course aim

This workshop aims at equipping students with the necessary skills and tools that would shape their entrepreneurial mindset and venture strategy in local and international contexts. Upon completion of the course, they should understand the attributes and perspectives of an entrepreneurial mindset, and how to acquire one. They should also be able to create and identify opportunities in local and international markets, and understand how markets and industries differ across borders. The workshop also equips students with tools to analyze venture value chain and learn how to synergize with global value chains. This is in addition to acquiring knowledge and practicing how to design business models that differ according to local and international settings.
