Cloud Computing has taken over the IT industry worldwide with a continuous evolution as the demand for its services is highly increasing. Numerous startup companies as well as well-established ones nowadays are starting to migrate their infrastructures and services into the cloud. This is a result of the numerous benefits that cloud computing provides; few of them are reduced costs, ease of management, and a cost-effective on-demand policy that allows for dynamic provisioning of resources with minimal upfront investments for customers. The huge evolution of cloud and other network trends resulted in massive amounts of data that require techniques to analyze and understand this data and its trends for the enhancing organizations’ performance and revenues.
The workshop will cover the following concepts: 1. Introduction to Cloud Computing, 2. Cloud service and deployment models, 3. Cloud Data Center Infrastructure, 4. Introduction to Big Data, 5. Techniques of Big Data Analysis, 6. Data Visualization Techniques

The workshop takes an open approach focusing on technology concepts and principles that can be applied in any environment and are simple to understand by students regardless of their previous knowledge.
