The Enterprise and the Environment Summer School is designed, delivered and managed within the University of Oxford. It is a programme intended for undergraduates, as well as recent graduates and young professionals passionate about leading environmental change.

The Summer School combines our world class faculty, cutting edge research and expert practitioners; they will explore topics with you such as environmental economics and policy, enterprise management, financial markets and investment to approach critical environmental challenges in the 21st century.

It is a programme intended for undergraduates, as well as recent graduates and young professionals passionate about leading environmental change.

Course aim

The objectives of the programme are to provide you with:
• Exposure to the wide variety of ways in which enterprise interacts with the environment (for example, through operations, stakeholder relations, economic outcomes), creating both direct and indirect impacts.

• An introduction to the broad scope of scientific environmental research that is necessary for, and needed, by enterprises and the financial sector to address current and future challenges.

• An understanding of the structures and decision-making processes in global systems to individual enterprises which influence and impact upon achieving environmental sustainability and how to engage with them.

Arrangements can be made with a students home institution to provide graded assessment information that can be used for crediting purposes.

GBP 2850: A discounted early bird price of £2850 is available to all students who pay for the Summer School before 12 April 2019. After this date the standard fee of £3100 will be applied to students when securing their place.
