Microeconomics
The course provides a knowledge about scope and method, demand, supply and market prices, theory of consumer behavior, demand elasticity, theory of production and cost, pricing and competitive resources. General equilibrium analysis and welfare economics, output determination in competitive and noncompetitive markets.

Target group
Anyone aged 18+ with an interest in Economics
Course aim
Be familiar with the basic microeconomic concepts;
Have gained the ability to apply basic microeconomic concepts to analyse behavior of consumers and firms under several market structures;
Have an understanding of the price mechanism, its limitations, and factors influencing the market price;
Have gained the ability to analyse the impact of government intervention on efficiency and distribution of surplus.
To introduce competitive, monopoly, oligopoly, monopolistic competitive markets.
