Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași offers this 2-week module to those who share a passion for the tourism sector and tour guiding. Our interdisciplinary school approaches the tourism system and then offers methods to perform tour guiding. Thus, you will be taught how to deliver persuasive speeches, how to prepare your spiel, how to improvise and instill enthusiasm, and how to mingle with the locals. During the first week, you will learn the essentials of Tourism, whereas, during the second, you will emphasize your practical skills.

Target group

This module is designed for university students, and graduates aiming at building a career in the tourism research and/or tourism industry, as well as for professionals who want to improve their skills.

Course aim

Focus on the fundamentals of tourism-related sciences from an interdisciplinary point of view, acquisition, and practice of tour guiding techniques, development of an all-around pleasant personality, and discovery of the local vibe of the city of Iasi and its surroundings.

EUR 400: The participation fee includes: registration & study materials, board (breakfast & lunch during weekdays) as well as lodging (available in shared (double) room in the university campus).
