Economy & Society Summer School

A week-long residential summer school, combining lectures, masterclasses, panel discussions : drawing from a broad range of social science, from anthropology through economics to philosophy and Sociology.

Course aim

The course gives doctoral students the space to reconsider their project using a broad range of theoretical paradigms and methodological approaches, with particular emphasis on ethical approaches to economic issues.

Fee info

EUR 400: €400: Overnight rate: covering school fees, all food, refreshments, and dorm-style accommodation on-site.
EUR 300: €300: Day-Rate, covering school fees, coffee, lunch and dinner.

There are plentiful accommodation options in Castletownroche village, 5 mins walk from the castle; applicants are encouraged to book B&B independently and avail of the day-rate. A list of options is available from info.easss@gmail.com
